| Abstract: | The study of the dynamics of color in space is divided into three phases: the study of color, the study of physiology and psychology of man, and finally the study of architecture. Each of these moments houses several chapters that go deeper, step by step, each of the elements inherent in each subject. The first part outlines the most important moments in history from studies of color, who brought the reality of the human being the main assumptions and parameters to take into account when we need to understand this element, in a brief retrospect. This part is still to explore the color, through analysis of the development of the assessment, classification and systematic organization of colors from various authors, with a view to understanding the characteristics and technical features, as well as its relationship with light, component indispensable to the perception of the visible world. The second part moves to the interaction between man and the visible world, between this and the color. Here are explored the physiological and psychological components of the science of vision, understanding the mechanisms that allow us to become aware of shapes and hence the space but also in the variables of the real oscillating interpretation by each individual as unique and unrepeatable, housing the main parameters of evaluation and perception of colors, which belongs to the psychology of color. In the third, and in order to grasp the influence of this element of the cultural and artistic over time, directing us increasingly to the architectural plan, explores some of the periods and/or cultures that have given us more striking "images" of color, through painting, sculpture and architecture in Portugal and the rest of the world, with focus on the European scene. Finally, seeking to support the entire study above, we see the applicability of color in space, while power proactive, and understand how, in practice, we can use it as an element that values space and under what circumstances it will not be well applied. |
| Description: | O estudo da dinâmica da cor no espaço, estrutura-se em 3 momentos: o estudo da cor, o estudo da fisiologia e psicologia do homem, e, por último o estudo da arquitectura. Cada um destes momentos alberga diversos capítulos que vão aprofundando, passo a passo, cada um dos elementos inerentes a cada assunto. A primeira parte expõe os momentos mais marcantes ao longo da história dos estudos de cor, que trouxeram à realidade do ser humano as principais perspectivas e parâmetros a ter em conta quando necessitamos de compreender este elemento, numa breve visão retrospectiva. É ainda nesta parte que é explorada a cor, através da análise da evolução da avaliação, classificação e organização sistemática das cores de diversos autores, com vista à compreensão das suas características e especificidades técnicas, bem como, da sua relação com a luz, componente imprescindível à percepção do mundo visível. A segunda parte avança para a interacção entre o homem e o mundo visível, entre este e a cor. Aqui são exploradas as componentes fisiológica e psicológica da ciência da visão, na compreensão dos mecanismos que nos permitem tomar consciência das formas e, consequentemente, do espaço, mas também nas variáveis oscilantes de interpretação do real por cada indivíduo enquanto ser único e irrepetível, albergando os principais parâmetros de avaliação e percepção das cores, aos quais pertence a psicologia da cor. Na terceira parte, e com vista à apreensão da influência deste elemento no panorama cultural e artístico ao longo dos tempos, direccionando-nos cada vez mais para o plano arquitectónico, exploram-se alguns dos períodos e/ou culturas que nos transmitiram de forma mais marcante "imagens" de cor, através da pintura, escultura e da arquitectura, em Portugal e no resto do mundo, com enfoque ao panorama europeu. Por último, buscando como suporte todo o estudo efectuado anteriormente, encaramos a aplicabilidade da cor no espaço, enquanto potência dinamizadora, para assimilar de que modo, na prática, podemos utiliza-la enquanto elemento valorizador espacial e em que circunstancias esta não será bem aplicada. |
