Pedrário, um estudo, que futuro?

Abstract

The Pedrário Village, where our intervention is proposed, lies in the deep northeast trasmontano, and it has, like similar places, witnessed a phenomenon of desertification, which is reflected in their natural, urban and architectural landscape. The book value is thus threatened, therefore it was considered desirable to take certain measures to lessen, or perhaps even reverse this process of degradation and abandonment. We propose to intervene in order to improve its infrastructural conditions and reclassify certain architectural elements, which serve to trigger the social and urban rejuvenation of the village. The presence nearby of some traces of ancient Celtic civilization, dating from the period before the romanization, can function as an element of cultural promotion, and this, plus an enhancer element of attraction. The fact that people find extremely old, is also the subject of our concern. Somehow, with this type of intervention, it is intended to throw some seed germination demographic, because some encouraging rural tourism can also create conditions for setting population. Moreover, this same population has a say and why the proposed action now, not only seeks the welfare and comfort of tourists who seasonally visit the village. It is also proposed to recover and rehabilitate public spaces Pedrário for its inhabitants to feel good in your world. Initially, we attempt to study the history, habits and customs of the village and its inhabitants. Then it will try to understand the relationship of desertification of the area. Starting from the understanding of the social, anthropological, historical and architectural aims to propose a strategic intervention, which has as its ultimate goal, fight for the reversal of this process of decay and isolation of the village in the rural context Portuguese.
