Breve noticia sobre dos vasos griegos inéditos en el Museo de León

Abstract

We report here on two Greek unpublished vases from Laurion at present in the Museum of León (Spain). They were bought at some point in the 20th century by the Provincial Commission of Monuments. These two small vases are a Corinthian alabastron and an Athenian lekythos attributed to the workshop of the Beldam Painter. Our investigation succeeds in placing these pieces in the context of a wider network of contemporary low-quality, fast executed vases recovered from a number of Greek burials.
