Abstract

This document comes within the scope of the curricular unit (CU) Professional Internship, a CU present in the 2nd cycle in Teaching Physical Education in Basic and Secondary Education, at the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto. In it you can find a testimony of what my last year was like. As far as organization is concerned, this document will be divided into three main parts. In the first one, concerning personal contextualization, I will talk about myself, the main characteristics present in me, and how they led me to this point, and how they interfered in my professional internship (EP). The second area discussed here goes back to the institutional characterization, in which it can be seen the characterization of the school that welcomed me in this year of EP, the characterization of the environment, the characterization of my class, which I dare to say that it has unique characteristics, which gave me an experience out of the ordinary. Finally, a last part that goes back to the experience of professional practice which is divided into three main areas: Area 1- Organization and Management of Teaching-Learning; Area 2- Participation in the school and Relationship with the community; Area 3- Professional Development.
