O regresso à escola, o início da transformação de um aluno em professor

Abstract

This document, school placement report, was conceived within the scope of the school placement curricular unit, integrated in the study plan of the 2nd cycle in Physical Education Teaching in Basic and Secondary Education of the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto. This work is based on all the experiences and learning lived by the trainee student, during the school year, in a real context of supervised practice. The school placement, reported in this document, took place at Escola Secundária de Valongo and was accompanied by a faculty advisor and a in-service teacher. The document is divided into six chapters, starting with an introduction and ending with a conclusion. The second chapter, Personal Framework, presents a characterization of the trainee student, as well as the establishment of goals for the future, reflecting on topics that it considers important to achieve these goals. The third chapter, Framework of Professional Practice, presents a reflection on the role of the internship in the initial formation of a teacher, on what the school is, and on the importance of Physical Education in the school curriculum. The fourth chapter, Institutional Framework, presents the context in which the school placement takes place. The fifth chapter, Conducting Professional Practice, is divided into three areas: Organization and Management of Teaching and Learning; Participation in School and Community Relations; and Professional Development.
