Do Relvado à Escola: O Percurso de um Treinador-Professor Estágio Profissional

Abstract

The School Placement Report presented here was carried out as part of the professional internship of the Master's Degree in Teaching Physical Education in Basic and Secondary School System at the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto, at the Secondary School of Castêlo da Maia, during the school year 2021/2022. With this report it is intended to portray the entire process, the learning acquired and the knowledge applied. Here is presented the path of an aspiring coach-teacher, reported in the first person, which is the culmination of the work developed during the Degree in Sports Science and the Master's Degree. This report is divided into four chapters: the first, "The Initial Whistle - Introduction", where a brief contextualization of the entire document is made; the second "Personal Framework", which reflects the entire personal, academic and professional background, as well as the experiences resulting from the professional internship; the third, "Institutional Framework", which inserts the characteristic of the school, the class, the training group, the cooperating teacher and the supervisor teacher; the fourth, "Operational Framework", structured with the entire teaching-learning process throughout the pedagogical internship, including the difficulties felt, strategies adopted and the activities developed, as well as a "Research Study" which focuses on mental health associated with the practice of sports.
