Abstract

This dissertation is an urban and architectural study focusing on the particular issue of "Industrial Patrimony". The work is divided into three distinct approaches that are interrelated: an empirical approach, where three case studies are prospectively presented; a theoretical approach where some foundational concepts are developed; a practical approach where the project exercise is experimented. The aim is to obtain a better knowledge (acknowledgment) of the territory in question. The research developed seeks new methodologies of action in the urban and architectural fields. The themes convened are explored graphically, thus allowing to clarify the objects of study, including the photography, cartography, drawing, etc.
