O RELATO DE UMA JORNADA DE APRENDIZAGENS: VIVÊNCIAS DE UM ESTAGIÁRIO EM EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA

Abstract

This School Placement Report is part of the Master's Degree in Teaching Physical Education in Primary and Secondary Education and its School Placement proposed by the Faculty of Sport, University of Porto. This report aims to describe, portray and reflect on what was the year of Professional Training in the cluster of Schools in Espinho. The School Placement was carried out with three classes of Primary, Elementary and Secondary education cycles in three different schools of the cluster, in which the resident class belonged to the 11th grade. The School Placement is a key moment in teacher training, as it marks the transition between academic training and its theoretical foundations and the professional career in a practical context. It is in this first experience that the future teacher impact face to face with reality, as he or she has in their hands real students who come from the most diverse contexts, encountering a diverse range of difficulties and mishaps during the journey that are fundamental for the evolution and significant learning in the execution of the teaching role. This is a moment that the future teacher looks forward to, not only because it is his first experience in the role of Physical Education Teacher, but also because he will finally have the opportunity to practice the activity he has dreamed of since he was a child. The professional internship was supervised by the supervising teacher, who belongs to the staff of the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto, along with the cooperating teacher who teaches at the Cooperating School. The School Placement aims to portray in detail everything that happened during the internship year, from the first steps that were taken in early September to the last activity held in July, through the monitoring of School Sports, the presence in the Class Councils of the resident and shared class and the participation and organization of the event open to the school community. It is also an integral part of this School placement the research study the research study whose theme deals with the way in which the physical fitness was operationalized in distance learning classes by PE teachers.
