Abstract

Collaborative housing that follows principles of community life, cooperativism and collective ownership. An approach to the practice of design in a real context with concerns that arise from the intersection between the particular wishes of the applicants, characteristics of the place and all the constraints that frame them. The first stones are laid for the construction of an architectural thought focused on the needs of ageing, questioning the future of an ageing population and of a culture that underestimates the importance of planning for old age. It is also a moment of reflection on the pandemic period that accompanied the whole process of producing the work and which made its execution so pertinent. A praise to life and an attempt to regenerate belief in the near future. Thus, the present dissertation aimed to experience this journey, between drawing and writing, in a final moment of academic learning, given its pertinence as an exercise of transition to a new reality.
