| Abstract: | With the presentation of this photographic essay, we intend to portray the essence of the city of Porto, starting from a kind of tour through key and remarkable elements of living in the city, but which, in turn, are strong promoters of the affirmation of the city as a haven and a port of senses. To this end, we draw on the contributions and insights of Sarah Pink (2020), about the application of a visual ethnography, while we interconnect with a series of poetic written resources, also full of meanings and symbologies. |
| Description: | Com a apresentação deste ensaio fotográfico, pretendemos retratar a essência da cidade do Porto, partindo de uma espécie de périplo por elementos chave e marcantes da vivência na cidade, mas que, por sua vez, são fortes promotores da afirmação da cidade enquanto um porto de abrigo e um porto de sentidos. Para tal, socorremo-nos dos contributos e insights de Sarah Pink (2020), acerca da aplicação de uma etnografia visual, ao passo que nos interligamos com uma série de recursos escritos poéticos, também eles repletos de significados e simbologias. |
