| Abstract: | Although Jorge da Câmara (ca.1619-1649) did not get any book published in his lifetime, the manuscript tradition of his poetry was the object of a critical-interpretative edition, printed in 2007. Based on new research, this article will reveal a previously unseen holograph, which will be related to the author's manuscript tradition and analyzed within a historical overview of modern holographs. |
| Description: | Poeta celebrado por muitos dos seus contemporâneos, Jorge da Câmara (ca.1619-1649) não viu obra publicada em livro, mas a tradição manuscrita da sua poesia foi objeto de uma edição crítico-interpretativa, dada à estampa em 2007. Aos testemunhos então editados junta-se agora a descoberta de um manuscrito autógrafo, contendo versão ampliada de um poema anteriormente editado a partir de cópia tardia. Este artigo dá a conhecer o novo manuscrito, enquadrando-o numa perspetiva histórica dos autógrafos modernos e procurando relacioná-lo com a transmissão apógrafa da obra camarina. |
