Processos educacionais nos museus de arte contemporânea: da mediação cultural à prática artística

Abstract

This article presents itself as a contribution to the reflection on educational processes in con-temporary art museums. To this end, it discusses some contexts and concepts that emerge with demo-cratic movements in the context of museums and with the change in focus of artistic practice - and also curatorial practice - driven by the Educational Turn. The work of Colombian artist Nicolás Paris is also analyzed in the sense of making the understanding about the connections between education and art and the educational processes that may exist in such institutions more complex.
