Abstract

The Professional Internship, which is integrated in the Second Cycle of Physical Education Teaching in Basic and Secondary Education, concerns a primordial stage in the culmination of the initial training. In this year of the Professional Internship, the student-intern experiences in full capacity all the demanding responsibilities inherent to the teaching profession, not only through the tasks they perform, but also through moments of observation, reflection, sharing and all the adjacent difficulties. Within these moments, the reflective dimension was the most striking during the Professional Internship, as it was present from the beginning of the school year until the end of it and was fundamental for the progress and professional and personal growth. This document reports the experiences lived by a student-intern, revealing all of the adversities, adaptations and challenges that appear during the year of the Professional Internship. This Internship Report played an essential role in the teaching-learning process at various levels, with a special focus on planning, implementation and assessment. Also to note that the 2020/2021 academic year was once again marked by the presence of Covid-19, which once again led to the resumption of distance learning. In times of uncertainty and unrest, this document also aims to share all the adaptations and changes that occurred throughout the school year in the teaching-learning process.
