Abstract

document is called Internship Report and was elaborated within the scope of the Professional Internship curricular unit referring to the 2nd cycle of studies leading to the attainment of a Master's degree in Teaching Physical Education (EF) in Basic and Secondary Education. The professional internship took place from September 2020 to June 2021, at António Nobre Secondary School, located in Porto (ESAN). The Professional Internship (PI) aims to provide the intern student with the experience of experiencing all the moments related to the school context. In this way, it was possible for me to complete this stage successfully through all the knowledge acquired during the degree, masters and also all the knowledge that was transmitted to me by those who experience was very high. During this school year, I was able to experience a new reality related to professional courses, which, in this way, allowed me to deepen my knowledge in this area that I had little known before. I was able to teach subjects such as Dramatic and Musical Body Education (DMBE) and Physical and Sports Activities Practices (PSAP), the class of professional courses in Child Support Technician and Sports Management Support Technician, respectively. This year was particular due to all the impediments caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, forcing us as Trainee Teachers to reinvent ourselves in order to adapt to the reality that we have overcome. Given all the experience lived through the professional courses, together with the Internship Center, we consider it pertinent to study the effects they have on the initial and final expectations regarding admission to these, analyzing their perspectives.
