Abstract

This report is based on the experience the author's professional internship. The internship occurred in the High School of Valongo, where there was an internship core of three trainees' students and two supervisors, the adviser teacher from Faculty, and the cooperating teacher from School. This report is based on the experiences lived by the trainee student during the academic year, like his learnings, reflections, difficulties, experiences, feelings and discussions, provided through the practice in a real context with real students and with truthful problems of practice. This document is divided into 5 chapters, it begins with the introduction and finishes with the conclusion. Chapter 2 - the Personal Background which makes the trainee known and sets goals for the academic year. Chapter 3 - Institutional Background which presents the granting of content and the context where the internship takes place. Chapter 4 - Operational Background, divided into three areas, the first area refers to the Organizational Activities and Management of the Learnings, the second area approaches the Involvement in the School and with the Community and the third area emphasizes the Professional Development, where also it´s placed the investigation-action project. The document ends with a final reflection about the internship year, presenting the perspectives for the trainee student's future, that is close to making a dream come true and to embrace his profession.
