A Arquitectura do Essencial: por uma experiência individual com o Museu Kolumba

Abstract

This dissertation proposes a reflection on an architectural object, the Museum of the Archdiocese of Cologne, a work anchored in a place, a context and an author, Peter Zumthor, from a personal reading and record. This study aims, from the contents of the symposiums of Alvar Aalto, to underline the importance of the sensorial dimension in architecture, of the exploration of architecture from a narrative of atmospheres, either through the condition of the place or through the spatial articulation itself, in the architectural discourse of Peter Zumthor.
