| Abstract: | This brief article studies and introduces the first critical text on the poetry of Agostinho Neto. Released in Mozambique, in 1951, at a time when very few of Neto's poems had been published, the text reveals a correct judgment of its young author, the future poet, essayist and critic Mário António Fernandes de Oliveira. |
