| Abstract: | The Centre of Studies in Geography and Spatial Planning (CEGOT) is currently involved in a number of research projects in the areas of economic geography of innovation, urban geography, risk management and civil protection. The project Bench-Bedside, Bedside-Bench, selected to briefly illustrate the type of research carried out at the research centre, investigates the role of Portuguese hospitals in innovation interactions through a geographic approach to multilevel networks. |
| Description: | O Centro de Estudos de Geografia e Ordenamento do Território (CEGOT) está a desenvolver vários projetos de investigação, tanto na área da geografia económica da inovação, como da geografia urbana ou ainda dos riscos e da proteção civil. Assim, tento em vista explicitar a investigação em curso nesta unidade de investigação, apresenta-se resumidamente um projeto sobre as interações de inovação Bench-Bedside, Bedside-Bench, através de uma abordagem geográfica das redes multinível, centradas no papel dos hospitais. |
