Uma casa em Jugueiros: memória e transformação num ensaio de projeto

Abstract

This thesis was motivated by a personal concern, wich serves porpose to search for statments of intervention. The uncertainties enunciated by the world, highly globalized, question the countuinity of identity, traditions and memories, not only in the construction of a place, but also in the search for the intimacy we can achieve with spaces, places and landscapes. The interest around this themes increased thrue the academic journey. Thus, this work intend to analise e reinterpret this "critical" points, enhancing the possibility of acting, throught a project possibility, in a real scenario: a plot with two shale and granite ruins, in Jugueiros, Felgueiras. The place, the ruins and the search for understanding the spaces of the House are the main themes analysed thrue the flections carried out throughout the work. These themes arise with the necessity of having a critcal and conscious posture towards the problems that a project may raise. In this way, the architectural project emerges not only as a corollary, but also as an inducer of the problems considered throughout its development process and the themes exposed before.
