Colóquios MEDINFOR: percurso de interdisciplinaridade entre Ciência da Informação e Medicina, no espaço luso-brasileiro (2008-2020)

Abstract

The dissemination of scientific production from the Bahia Medical School of the Federal University of Bahia, through the Institutional Repository is the object of study of this article. The objective is to verify the quantity and relevance of the academic and scientific content of this Unit, made available in open access. The research has a descriptive and exploratory character, in which a qualitative and quantitative approach is adopted, in the expectation of quantifying and describing the documents inserted in the repository. The survey reveals that the scientific community of the Faculdade de Medicina da Bahia makes available one of the largest numbers of open access documents in relation to other units of the institution.
