| Abstract: | A very little quoted text by the German philosopher, cultural critic and essayist Walter Benjamin (1892-1940) is revisited about the collector regarding a painful activity that the historical circumstances he experienced (Nazism and the persecution of Jews) forced him to do more than once - packaging and dividing your library. The considerations that he made about this are a harbinger of the possible application of systemic theory to integral documentary collections (bibliographic, photographic, archival and museological). |
| Description: | Revisita-se um texto muito pouco citado do filósofo, crítico cultural e ensaísta alemão Walter Benjamin (1892-1940) sobre o colecionador a propósito de uma dolorosa atividade que as circunstâncias históricas que viveu (o nazismo e a perseguição aos judeus) o obrigaram a fazer mais que uma vez - o empacotamento e divisão de sua biblioteca. As considerações que teceu a respeito configuram um prenúncio da possível aplicação da teoria sistémica aos acervos documentais integrais (bibliográfico, fotográfico, arquivístico e museístico). |
