| Abstract: | In this text we analyze some similarities and differences between sign languages and oral languages, starting from some recent research. We intend to show that Portuguese Sign Language (LGP) is a natural language in which the combination of the units of the system (the kereme, the sign and the sentence) is carried out by articulating processes of linearity and simultaneity, in a syntactic space with many morphosyntactic, textual and pragmatic potentialities. We will mainly analyze morphological and morphosyntactic areas, related to different types of verbs, their properties and values. |
| Description: | Neste texto analisamos algumas semelhanças e diferenças entre as línguas gestuais e as línguas orais, partindo de algumas investigações recentes. Pretendemos mostrar que a Língua Gestual Portuguesa (LGP) é uma língua natural em que a combinação das unidades do sistema (o querema, o gesto e a frase) se realiza articulando processos de linearidade e de simultaneidade, num espaço sintático com múltiplas potencialidades morfossintáticas, textuais e pragmáticas. Analisaremos, principalmente, fenómenos dos planos morfológico e morfossintático, muito em particular decorrentes dos tipos de verbos e das suas propriedades e funcionamento. |
