Abstract

This paper is the result of the course unit on professional internships which is part of the masters in physical education in primary and secondary education, of the faculty of sports at the university of Porto. The integration of education in reality is an important factor in the professional internship, allowing the supervision of the trainee teacher being able to develop some professional skills. The professional internship was held at middle and high school Rodrigues de Freitas in Porto, along with two other interns, a CT (cooperative teacher) and a GT (guiding teacher). The intership report consisted of five chapters. Chapter 1, The introduction, where the themes developed along the report are clearly and briefly adressed. Chapter 2, Personal dimension, is intended to identify and chatacterize myself, giving a little knowledge of me as a teacher, and finally. I will briefly reflect on my internship expetations. Chapter 3, Professional practise framework, where I will talk about the school where I conducted the professional internship, the internship core, the physical education core and the resident class I taught. Chapter 4, Professional practise implementation has three specific areas. Area 1, represents the organization and managment of education and learning, of which consists the design of teaching and planning as the annual planning, teaching units and lesson planning. Area 2, represents particiption in school activities and community relationship which demonstrates the activities I participated in, such as school sports and activities developed by the physical education group, as the "cut-off". Area 3, represents the professional development carried out in the form of a study proposal about the inclusion of a SEN student (special education needs) in physical education classes. Finally, in chapter 5, Conclusion and future ambitions, I will give a brief summary of the whole internship.
