| Abstract: | In this article we intend to analyze Miguel Januário's politically engaged artistic interventions,in the last decade, characterized by the seriousness of a severe economic,fi nancial and social crisis in Portugal. The work presented here underlies a purposebased on a primordial heuristic principle: to demonstrate that street art is a matterand object of social intervention, demarcating a specifi c space in the denunciationand revelation of social issues; also, multiplying and questioning, thus, the forms andcontents of the urban arts. |
| Description: | Neste artigo pretendemos analisar as intervenções artísticas politicamente engajadasde Miguel Januário, na última década, caracterizada pela premência de uma severacrise económica, fi nanceira e social em Portugal. Ao trabalho que aqui apresentamosencontra-se uma fi nalidade assente num princípio heurístico primordial: o dedemonstrar que a street art constitui matéria e objeto de intervenção social, demarcandoum espaço próprio, defi nido e específi co na denúncia e revelação de problemáticassociais; multiplicando e questionando, assim, as formas e conteúdos das artesurbanas. |
