dc.description	Com a presente dissertação, propõe-se a elaboração de um projeto para o centro da cidade de Niterói, que reflete a recente condição do seu legado histórico e cultural. O trabalho procura estudar as características do projeto Caminho Niemeyer e de seguida, tem por finalidade propor um lugar de encontro para as comunidades estabelecidas no centro urbano. Este assume variada condição de valorização da cultura e património contemporâneo, numa simbiose entre a malha urbana consolidada e o recinto destinado à equação cultural da cidade - completamente desconetada da mesma - como catalisador de desenvolvimento do território e da sociedade que o habita.
dc.description.abstract	Present dissertation proposes the elaboration of a project for the city center of Niteroi, which reflects the recent condition of its cultural and historical legacy. The work seeks to study the characteristics of the Niemeyer Way Project and then aims to propose a meeting place for the communities established in the urban center, which assumes a multiple condition of valuing contemporary culture and heritage, in a symbiosis between the consolidated urban network and the enclosure destined for the cultural equation of the city - completely disconnected from it - as a catalyst for development of the territory and the society that inhabits it.
