"Estágio Profissional, do sonho à experiência: Em busca de uma Educação Física para todos através de uma aprendizagem colaborativa"

Abstract

The teaching practice portrays the passage of all the knowledge acquired throughout the student's academic education in confrontation with the reality encountered. It is the culmination of the study plan of the 2nd year of the Master in Teaching Physical Education in Primary and Secondary of the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto. This document aims to report the story taken during the school year 2018-2019, rich in personal and professional experiences, enriched by unveiled reflection. The teaching practice has become one of the most important paths of my life, where I experienced memorable moments. The teaching practice was held at E.B. 2,3 Pêro Vaz de Caminha, a TEIP school, located in Porto, here I was a teacher of two resident classes, one from the 8th grade and one from the 4th grade and from a shared class from the 5th grade. The Internship group consisted of four student teachers, the cooperating school teacher and the faculty advisor. Teaching at this school had a special flavor because I had been a student there, which allowed me to relive past moments. In addition, I was able to meet former teachers who welcomed me very well, treating me as a colleague. This my first year as a teacher was really challenging, and the confrontation with reality was difficult, having been overcome thanks to a great resilience. I am proud of what I achieved with my students, it was a year of much sharing and mutual growth. I ended the year tired but very pleased with the feeling of accomplishment. In this document I will tell my story chapter by chapter, with several excerpts from my logbook. In the last major area I will expose my research study, which focused on a current teaching model that puts the student at the center of teaching. This document is marked by the realization of a child's dream that was lived with great emotion.
