Abstract

This document is personal and non-transferable and intends to portray the course taken by a student-trainee during a school year of supervised teaching practice in a school located in the Matosinhos area, specifically João Gonçalves Zarco Secondary School. Its accomplishment is the culmination of a year of acquisition of knowledge, experiences and pedagogical skills essential for the future as a person and a teaching professional. It is at this moment that we invoke all the knowledge acquired throughout the whole process of formation in order to establish the bridge between theory and practice. After this performance, it is time to reflect on "what" and "how" everything happened so that lessons can be learned about this action. For this, the present document was divided into five chapters: the first, introduction, which intends to contextualize the present document; the second, Personal Framework, which describes the student-trainee and intends to state their expectations regarding the internship (beginnings and after two months); the third, Framework of professional practice, which encompasses the legal and institutional framework, the school as an institution, the characterization of the resident school, the core of the internship, and the resident and shared classes; the fourth, Operational framework, which encompasses three areas: Area 1 - Organization and management of teaching and learning, Area 2 - Participation in school and relations with the community and Area 3 - Professional development, which encompasses the whole teaching-learning process ; the fifth and final chapter, "The end that is only a beginning ..." which is intended to be a final reflection on the professional stage and to prospect the future.
