| Abstract: | This dissertation focuses on an urban thinking about the Spree riverbanks in Berlin, based on the Mediaspree Program, and as a counterpoint the Holzmarkt Project, forming two distinct attitudes towards the same problem: how to define urban strategies, having as object, the redesign of the river banks, and as purpose, the creation of a set of effective systems that meet the needs of the place integrated into the urban structure and social component, that is, the collective thinking of the contemporary city. |
| Description: | A presente dissertação foca-se numa reflexão urbanística sobre o desenho do perfil do Rio Spree em Berlim, tendo por base o Programa Mediaspree e como contraponto o Projeto Holzmarkt, que constituem duas atitudes distintas perante um mesmo problema: como definir estratégias urbanas, tendo como objeto o redesenho das margens do rio, e, como objetivo, a criação de um conjunto de sistemas eficazes que respondam às necessidades do lugar integrado na estrutura urbana e na componente social, ou seja, pensar a cidade coletiva na contemporaneidade. |
