| Abstract: | The present dissertation stems from a will to address the broad subject of the intervention in historical contexts through the filter of a specific reality, rich in urban, architectural and human resources. This approach intends not only to circumscribe and relativize the theme through the comparison with the context, but also suggesting the essencial unity of the architecture's issues and of the Practice, questioning its theme's unitidirectionality. |
| Description: | A presente dissertação parte da vontade de tratar o vasto tema da intervenção em contextos históricos através do filtro de uma realidade específica, rica em recursos urbanos, arquitectónicos e humanos. Esta abordagem pretende não só circunscrever e relativizar o tema através do confronto com o lugar, mas também sugerir a essencial unidade das questões arquitecónicas e da prática da Disciplina, pondo em causa a unidirecionalidade dos seus temas. |
