| Abstract: | This work investigates Mário Bonito´s path and work in order to understand and clarify his contribution to the process of maturity of Portuguese Architecture, at the end of the 1950s. We intend to deepen his relationship, which has yet to be clarified, with the pedagogy process of the Porto School of Fine Arts, during the 40s and 50s, framed in portuguese reality and referenced to the premises of the Modern Movement in Portuguese Architecture. Documentation and interpretation is proposed, from his artisticity, the evolution of the design process through the analysis of his architectural work and the cultural/artistic production and dissemination, with emphasis in his participations in the Clube Português de Cinematografia - Cine-Clube do Porto and the Círculo de Cultura Teatral - Teatro Experimental do Porto. |
| Description: | Este trabalho investiga o percurso e a obra de Mário Bonito de forma a compreender e a clarificar o seu contributo no processo de maturidade da Arquitectura Portuguesa, alcançado no final da década de 50 do século XX. Pretende-se aprofundar a sua relação com a pedagogia da Escola de Belas- Artes do Porto, durante os anos 40 e 50, enquadrada na realidade portuguesa/portuense e referenciada aos pressupostos do Movimento Moderno na Arquitectura Portuguesa. Propõe-se a documentação e interpretação, a partir da sua artisticidade, da evolução do processo de desenho através da análise da sua obra arquitectónica e da produção e divulgação cultural/artística, com destaque, nas suas participações no Clube Português de Cinematografia - Cine-Clube do Porto, e no Círculo de Cultura Teatral - Teatro Experimental do Porto. |
