Title: | Component Models for Embedded Systems in Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems |
Issue Date: | 2018-06 |
Abstract: | Component Based Software Engineering is a tradi-tional methodology that has signicant advantages: reductionof production cost, code reuse, code portability, fast time tomarket, systematic approach to system construction and guidedsystem design by formalization and domain specic modellinglanguages. This methodology is used in frameworks for enterprisesystems, user interfaces, Web applications, embedded systemsfor Industrial Cyber Physical Productions Systems (ICPPS) andIndustrial Internet of Things (IIoT). In this work, we surveyedcomponent model solutions and literature applied to IndustrialCyber Physical Systems (ICPS). By conducting a reproduciblesystematic mapping study, we search and select results of in-terest. Research Questions (RQs) are formulated and addressedby applying classication schemes to the results. Finally, theclassication results allow us to come up with a state-of-theart in this domain and to draw some conclusions about designconsiderations and research trends. |
