A complexidade da era digital desafia a ética

Abstract

This paper presents the results of a research conducted at the School of Arts and Communications of the University of São Paulo and the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto. It discusses, from a theoretical point of view, the complexity of the technological evolution and the explosion of the digital universe in the network society. The exploratory method was used to achieve the results. This environment for the search, access, appropriation and use of information, transformed by the phenomenon of Big Data, demands new skills, abilities and approaches with regard to the ethical challenges in the digital era.
