Abstract

The preparation of this report is part of the end of my training course of the 2nd cycle of studies in Sports Management. This document aims to portray all my route, my difficulties and the living experience during the traineeship. That way, i promote a critical analysis of the moments that contributed largely to the success of this course. The stage was held at F.C. Porto in handball section, as team manager of the senior team of the club, in parternship with the person who does this activity. Throughout this stage, i always count with support of him, the club supervisor and college advisor, all of them responsible for monitoring me during the year. This report is organized into five chapters. The first "Introduction" is a brief summary of the report as well as a Framework of it and the professional stage. The second "Biographical Framework" includes the trainee student route and his expectations for the internship year. The third "Professional Practice Framework" which perform a literature review about the issues addressed during the stage and where do i frame the institution in which i was placed. The fourth "Professional Fulfillment" represents all the meanly moments of the stage, like the activities realized throughout the year, as well as the presence in majory events for my experience as a sports manager. Within this chapter, i also insert a research project, namely, a case study, with the theme "Leadership and other skills in the role of general manager of handball, Prof. José Magalhães". Finally, the fifth chapter, Final Considerations, reflects all the work done during the stage. This report represents the sum of the work realize and a reflection and critical analysis of this route.
