Paisagem, vinho e arquitectura. Proposta para uma adega em Lagoa, Algarve

Abstract

The following dissertation intends to create a reflection about the relationship between architecture, wine and landscape, constituting the theorical principles that assist the development of a project requested for a winery in Lagoa, in Algarve. The analysis of wine architecture, since the beginnings until the contemporaneity, allows the better understandig of the relationship between each space that integrates the contemporanean wineries, as well as the interior atmosphere. In other hand, the analysis and definition of the different elements that constitute the algarvian traditional landscape allows a better understanding of the place and a defintion of a projectual strategy. Like this, it is possible to consolidate a logical idea of thinking for the conception of the project as na ensemble of parts that form a coherent whole.
