Relatório de Estágio Profissional "A concretização de um sonho: viagem de uma professora estagiária"

Abstract

This report is a document prepared in the scope of the Professional Internship, a curricular unit of the second cycle of studies leading to the award of the degree of Master in Teaching Physical Education in the Basic and Secondary Education of the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto. This curricular unit is a part of the second year (third and fourth semesters) of this cycle of studies. This report aims to reflect on the experiences lived by a student intern, comparing them with the specific literature, mirroring the activities developed during the school year and report the difficulties overcome, the learnings gained and results achieved. The daily work and visible mutual aid from the group of the internship and the rest of the school community was of significant importance, for my personal and professional growth. The professional internship took place in the academic year 2016/2017, in the Secondary School of Ermesinde, from the grouping schools of Ermesinde, under the supervision and guidance of an Associate Teacher of the host institution and a Supervisor Teacher from the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto. This report is divided into six parts: (1) Introduction; (2) Personal Dimension - discusses my life course and the reasons that led me to pursue this area; (3) a Framework for professional practice - exposure of the framework, organization and functioning of the professional internship, as well as the characterization of the context where the supervision of the teaching practice took place; (4) achievement of professional practice - presentation of important moments of my practice, reflecting on all essential points in the teaching-learning process throughout this year of internship; (5) Research Study - Presentation of a study on the behavior of parents on the sports practice of their students; and (6) Conclusion.
