| Abstract: | In the year 1509, the queen D. Leonor (1458-1525) founded the monastery of Madre de Deus, which soon became the most important center of the coletine reform of the Order of S. Clara in Portugal. This article examines the specificity developed within this religious institution, linking them to the spiritual and religious in related to D. Leonor. |
