dc.description.abstractThis document reflects the results of a quick scoping review of the peer-reviewed and grey literatureand is not intended to be comprehensive. It explores the multiple dimensions of impact that naturebasedsolutions projects may have when implemented at different scales, from building to regional.To meet this objective, an impact assessment framework was formulated, which is intended to beused to guide an assessment of the effectiveness of nature-based solutions projects. It is the firststep in the process, and is likely to be refined by other expert working groups in 2017.The designation of geographical entities in this report, and the presentation of the material, do notrepresent the expression of any opinion whatsoever on the part of the European Commission orother participating organisations concerning the legal status of any country, territory, or area, or ofits authorities, or concerning the delimitation of its frontiers or boundaries.
