An impact evaluation framework to support planning and evaluation of nature-based solutions projects

Abstract

This document reflects the results of a quick scoping review of the peer-reviewed and grey literature and is not intended to be comprehensive. It explores the multiple dimensions of impact that naturebased solutions projects may have when implemented at different scales, from building to regional. To meet this objective, an impact assessment framework was formulated, which is intended to be used to guide an assessment of the effectiveness of nature-based solutions projects. It is the first step in the process, and is likely to be refined by other expert working groups in 2017.
