| Abstract: | Two methods are presented which can be used for the dynamic vehicle structural analysis: the Component Element Method and the Finite Element Method. The Component Element Method is considered for the analysis of rigid/flexible systems. This method is applicable to linear or non-linear systems. The Finite Element Method is used for the detailed analysis of complex structural models, including the dynamic effects, namely in what concerns the calculations of the relevant eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the vehicle structure. Some examples are presented in order to assess the efficiency of the methods for the analysis of vehicle structures. |
| Description: | Apresentam-se dois métodos que correspondem a técnicas de análise dinâmica de estruturas de veículos distintas: o Método dos Elementos Componentes e o Método dos Elementos Finitos. O Método dos Elementos Componentes é empregue na análise do comportamento dinâmico de sistemas rígidos e rígido-flexíveis, podendo ter características não-lineares. O Método dos Elementos Finitos é utilizado em análises detalhadas de modelos estruturais complexos, nomeadamente, na determinação das frequências e modos próprios de vibrações, mais relevantes para o comportamento da estrutura. Faz-se também uma breve referência às técnicas de solução utilizadas e apresentam-se alguns exemplos de aplicação. |
