Title: Forecasting hot water demand aiming at domestic energy efficiency

Abstract: This study aims to provide an approach for domestic hot water consumption forecasting at the household level. The main purpose is the autonomous control of the water setpoint by a water heater appliance according to the consumption needs of the residents. It is a contribution to the energy efficiency topic in a Smart Cities context.
Description: Este trabalho pretende apresentar uma abordagem para a previsão do consumo de água quente ao nível doméstico, com a principal finalidade de controlo autónomo da temperatura da água por parte de um aparelho de acumulação de água quente mediante as necessidades de consumo dos residentes, pelo que será um contributo para a eficiência energética, num contexto de Smart Cities.
