dc.descriptionThis dissertation will focus on bringing the convenience associated with traditional desktop interactions to VR by exploring gestures on and above an interactive surface placed in front of users experiencing VR while seated to allow them to interact with the virtual environment. The research will be centered on using VR devices, such as the Oculus Rift + Leap Motion, a touch-sensitive surface, and other additional devices that may be used to complement them.
