| Abstract: | DIGITAL4OSH Digital technologies for occupational safety and health in construction Digital4OSH is a group of construction researchers and professionals from the UK and Portugal . We work on applying KTD to realise OSH outcomes. Key Technological Developments (KTD), as a wider wave to Digitalization in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operation (AECO) sector, have led to a step change in the traditional ways of dealing with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) risk management, leading to a more concrete understanding of its potential to optimize and minimize risks and costs of accidents at work and occupational diseases. The use of KTD for OSH in real practical cases in different countries has not been sufficiently covered and monitorized in recent researches and several authors have called for more studies to be carried out on real-world examples. Digital4OSH aims to study KTD for OSH implementation and evolution. |
