| Issue Date: | 2025-03-14 |
| Abstract: | For Safety Coordination costs of preventive measures among the great number of possible solutions can be a leap in the dark. A case study is presented where the safety coordinator and construction manager have analysed the impact of the possible preventive measures. The impact is measured in terms of probability, consequences and costs. The choices of preventive measures was made with a decision tree non-parametric learning algorithm with a hierarchical tree structure with nodes. Costs considered were estimated with the use of human resources, materials and equipment necessary to implement each type of preventive measure in the planned tasks. It is expeccted to have an example of a process to have a rational approach to choosing an efficent set of safety preventive measures given budgets, regulations, risks and impacts. |
