This dissertation aimed to outline the reasons behind the purchase of Non-fungible Tokens (NFTs) related to Storytelling, specifically Profile Picture Projects (PFP), identifying the dimensions of the user experience with these projects that are most appealing. Through an extensive literature review, gaps in the study of user behavior toward this new Storytelling tool were identified, which formed the basis for the applied methodology. The qualitative and exploratory research involved the participation of ten individuals with limited to advanced knowledge about NFTs, who interacted with existing Storytelling PFP projects on the market . The data collected from subsequent interviews revealed immediate impressions and opinions, helping to understand the motivations behind acquiring these PFPs, as well as the importance of narrative and the role of communities in the decision-making process. In the conclusions, the results were discussed in light of the reviewed literature, offering insights into future challenges and opportunities in researching Storytelling applied to NFT projects within blockchain technology.
