Abstract

The paper book has been the most relevant technological support for learning, for several centuries. This project intends to develop a hybrid approach, for the pedagogical support to the learning of programming for Digital Media students, which tend to be more creative - the augmented book. This augmented book is a paper book, a tangible medium containing the basic text for learning, but complemented by an application that allows transposing from paper to digital support, integrating videos, challenges, digital games and gamification, to make learning more engaging, effective and pervasive (learning "anytime and anywhere"). The application allows the integration with the smartphone or the personal computer, in a direct and intuitive way.
