| Abstract: | The objective of this project is the development of an Adaptable Fire Detection System, capable of interfacing with the two most common types of devices in this area: addressable devices, and conventional devices. Transparently for the user, it must be possible to use both types of devices at the same time, and associate them to the same zone, which is an innovation in this kind of systems. This kind of mixed configurations allows for a lower cost when compared to a purely addressable system, and more flexibility than an conventional only system. |
| Description: | Este projeto tem como objectivo a criação de uma central de deteção de incêndio adaptável, capaz de trabalhar com os dois tipos de dispositivos mais comuns nesta área: dispositivos endereçáveis, e dispositivos convencionais. Transparentemente para o utilizador, deve ser possível a utilização de ambos os tipos na mesma central, sendo possível a associação de dispositivos de diferentes tipos na mesma zona, algo de inovador neste tipo de centrais. Este tipo de configurações mistas permite um custo mais baixo para o utilizador quando comparado com um sistema puramente endereçável, e mais flexível do que um sistema apenas convencional. |
