| dc.description.abstract | This project is aimed as a proof of concept of an innovative technology that was recently created, using for this purpose photonic components of a foundry for this purpose, in view of the goal of the construction of the chip. For the chip tests, the Lumerical software was used, in order to verify its functionalities and capabilities. The project of the chip is done step by step, through a practical test approach, in order to achieve the functionality of each constituent block of the chip first, and of the system after. The chip is intended to be used for RF signal filters, the central frequency of the filter as well as the width are adjustable through the correct configuration of several input signals. | |
