| Title: | Wireless CAN bus bridge |
| Issue Date: | 2019-07-12 |
| Description: | The CAN Bus network is of extreme importance in electrical mobility, minimizing cabling and improving reliability in data transfer. In some specific cases, the driver's cabin and CAN network of interest may be detachable (e.g. in a trailer). It may be then necessary to connect wirelessly to the CAN traffic (via Bluetooth or other technology). It is this dissertation's purpose to design and implement a transceiver pair that can connect wirelessly two or more physically separated can networks. It is expected the development of the firmware and possibly hardware that augments the existing AddVolt's local CAN network to be compatible with said wireless CAN bridge. |
