| Abstract: | The revolution in the transport network is already underway and includes its electrification. This revolution is an imposition so that the planet can breathe cleaner air, with less greenhouse gas emissiobs and less dependence on fossil fuels. As such, this transformation has to be accompanied by a modernization of the existing energy systems as well as by the use of energy production infrastructures for electric vehicles so as not to affect the normal operation of the network. Throughout this Dissertation, I will study several ways to implement intelligent charging in the electrical network, using the concepts of management and storage of load to solve the congestion of the network and prevent that, whenever possible, major changes in the existing networks are made. The presented solutions will be applied to practical cases and later analyzed, theoretically and numerically, the adjacent improvements. |
| Description: | A revolução na rede de transportes está já em andamento e passa pela sua eletrificação. Esta revolução é uma imposição para que o planeta possa respirar um ar mais puro, com menos emissões de gases com efeito estufa e uma menor dependência dos combustíveis fósseis. Como tal, esta transformação tem de ser acompanhada por uma modernização dos sistemas energéticos existentes, bem como uma utilização das infraestruturas de produção de energia para que os veículos elétricos não afetem o normal funcionamento da rede. Ao longo da Dissertação vou estudar diversas formas de implementar o carregamento inteligente na rede elétrica, usando os conceitos de gestão e armazenamento de carga para solucionar o congestionamento da rede e impedir que sejam feitas, sempre que possível, grandes alterações nas redes já existentes. As soluções apresentadas serão aplicadas a casos práticos e posteriormente analisadas teórica e numericamente as melhorias adjacentes. |
