| Description: | 5G is currently in the initial phase of standardization and many aspects of the physical layer are yet to be decided, particularly related to Machine Type Communication (MTC). A flexible simulation framework that can easily adapt to the latest standardization developments is thus a valuable tool. Building upon the 3gpp release 13 specifications for MTC, the proposal is to build a link level simulation framework in Matlab allowing for quick prototyping of ideas and concepts towards 5G. |
