| Abstract: | The new communication technologies brought new ways of communicating journalistic contents. New concepts associated with the construction and consumption of news arise, concepts such as non-linear, multimedia, interactive and hypermedia. And it's from these new concepts that emerges the webdocumentary, that is no more than an evolution of the old maxim that says journalism is an art of storytelling. Readers are increasingly more interested for something objective and interactive, something different and not as routine as a regular newspaper article. In this dissertation is studied the types of webdocumentary that exist, and the best ways of applying them regarding to particular journalistic subjects. Passing through the experience of developing a webdocumentary in a small newspaper, the JPN, the linking between the producers and this type of content was examined, and through this, the construction of a manual of good practices directed to producers of contents started, with the purpose of contributing to the success of the projects developed by them. |
| Description: | As novas tecnologias de comunicação trouxeram novas formas de comunicar conteúdos jornalísticos. Surgem novos conceitos associados à construção e consumo da notícia, conceitos como o não-linear, multimédia, interativo, e hipermédia. É destes novos conceitos que emerge o webdocumentário, não mais do que uma evolução da velha máxima de que o jornalismo é uma arte de contar histórias. Os leitores cada vez mais procuram algo objetivo e interativo, algo diferente e não tão rotineiro como um artigo jornalístico regular. Nesta dissertação são estudados os tipos de webdocumentário existentes e qual as melhores formas de os aplicar relativamente a temas jornalísticos particulares. Passou-se pela experiência de construção de um webdocumentário num jornal de pequena dimensão, o JPN, estudou-se a ligação dos produtores com este tipo de conteúdos, e através disso iniciou-se a construção de um manual de boas práticas direcionado a produtores de conteúdos, com o objetivo de contribuir para o sucesso dos projetos desenvolvidos por estes. |
